How Allo Floride uses Bridge to pitch music to supervisors

Allo Floride is an independent music organization based in France with three primary areas of expertise: booking & live show productions, management & publishing services, and venue management.
About Allo Floride Publishing
In 2014, Allo Floride created their very own publishing house to support their in-house artists, which has since become a separate entity. Recognized for its catalog of electronic music, Allo Floride Publishing has expanded its repertoire to include emerging artists like Walter Astral as well as more established names like Isaac Delusion.
The Allo Floride Publishing team is highly focused on artistic development, promotion and synchronization. We spoke to Jules Vidal, a Junior Sync Manager from the Allo Floride Publishing Team about how he uses Bridge.audio to facilitate his workflow, organize their catalog and send attractive pitches to music supervisors.
The Pain Point: No way to organize multiple catalogs effectively and pitch songs attractively
Prior to using Bridge, Jules says the Allo Floride team had been relying on Google Drive to store their catalog, and WeTransfer to send their music to clients, usually music supervisors or other professionals from audiovisual industries in need of music. Discover how Bridge.audio compares to alternatives.
The first pain point they encountered with these tools was how disorganized and inaccessible they made their catalog of over 500 tracks. As explained by Jules: “The reason we started using Bridge was that it was a bit of a zoo before. Someone would download a track from WeTransfer and store it on their own computer, and other members of the team wouldn’t be able to access it. There was no established process.”
Jules explains how extra challenging it became to effectively organize all of Allo Floride’s various catalogs. Indeed, as an organization that is involved in so many different aspects of the music industry, Allo Floride has the master rights to certain tracks, publishing rights to other tracks, and for some tracks it has both. It’s important to be able to manage all these catalogs separately and efficiently, which standard tools make difficult.
The Solution: Storing, organizing & sharing music through one attractive and user-friendly platform
When Jules joined the Allo Floride team six months ago, they immediately tasked him with the mission to transfer their entire publishing catalog to Bridge. The idea was to start using the tool as their primary platform to store, organize and share their assets. Here’s how he organized things:
“I created unique artist pages for each artist we represent. I also created a playlist with our entire publishing catalog, and another more specific playlist with all the tracks within our publishing catalog that are easily clearable. It was super intuitive to do.”
Below is an example of an artist page Jules created for duo-band Walter Astral using Bridge.audio.
As you can see, Bridge.audio projects enable you to include your artist’s press photos, social media links and tracks in one simple, aesthetically-pleasing and user-friendly interface. Find out how to build your own Electronic Press Kit (EPK) for your music project using Bridge.audio.
Jules tells us he’s created a similar page for every artist represented by Allo Floride Publishing. Head over to their website to explore each of their unique Bridge.audio artist pages.
As opposed to sending slow and stuffy Google Drive folders, Jules expressed how much more intuitive and attractive these Bridge.audio artist pages are to send to clients. As he puts it: “The issue with Google Drive is that it can be messy and not very user-friendly. You can get lost in the folders, it’s slow to load tracks, and sharing links aren’t as intuitive as they could be. Basically it’s not a very attractive way to pitch music to supervisors. With Bridge you can share all the elements you need in one single page.”
Moreover, Allo Floride Publishing has been able to centralize their catalog in one place by storing it all in a Bridge.audio workspace, thus enabling everyone in the team to have access to all the same files in an autonomous way.
Jules also expressed his appreciation for the tagging feature that enabled him to separate the publishing catalog from Allo Floride’s master tracks in only a few clicks.
