Metadata management made easy:

File upload & metadata

When you upload a track on your workspace, all existing ID3 metadata encoded in the file are also added to Bridge. They can all be found in the information window available for each track. Same goes if you add a track from your inbox, or from any Bridge links you may receive. In the two latter cases, music tags will also be included as you retrieve the track(s).

Replace audio files

Once you’ve added metadata to a track, you can decide to change the audio file without having to re-write all metadata. It helps with versioning or audio format management. When you use the 'replace audio file' feature, all your existing share links are automatically updated with the new files, no need to send new links!

Multi-edit of tracks information

You can select multiple tracks, and modify the metadata for all of them at once! Useful for tracks from the same album, or playlist, or for tracks with identical legal credits. Again, whenever you update metadata, existing links will update right away.

Easy metadata management with the information panel available for each track on Bridge.

Track details
All the basics about the sound recording. From title, artist, album, lyrics, to more specific information like genre, BPM, ISRC code, label, publisher... You'll find many options on your Bridge workspace.
Album information
A tab dedicated to metadata about the fiel support: album/project name, suport type, release date, UPC code, total tracks. This also the place where you can add the support cover or a custom artwork for the audio files.
Audio & music tags
We provide a very wide range of tags to define your audio files. Genre, sub-genre, vocal, instruments, moods, and movements, it is all there. We also offer dedicated families of tags for voice over, sound design, and podcast. Our free AI auto-tagging will assist you in describing your files, and you can polish them by hand as well, for example using your own custom tags.
Credits
This section allows proper identification of all legal contributors to the music, helping making sure that future royalties will be rightfully distributed. You can fill in all the different right-holders for each track, with their role (author, composer, publisher...), along with the splits on both master and publishing rights. In other words, you can also turn your Bridge workspace into a legal database for your catalog.
File information
This section offers all the technical metadata about your files: duration, audio format type, size, bitrate... You'll also know which workspace member did the upload and when, or the last update on the file. You can also replace the audio file from this tab, without any loss of metadata.
File usage
This last tab relates to the different possible uses of a track. You will know if the audio file was shared on such or such Bridge.audio hub, for example the Sync Hub. It will also be the place where all projects in which the track is present are listed.
