Record Makers is an independent label founded in 2000 by the band Air and their associates Marc Teissier du Cros and Stéphane Elfassi, following the release of the soundtrack for Sofia Coppola's film Virgin Suicides. The produced artists are mainly from pop and electro genres.

How does the relationship between record companies and artists work?
