Quiet Panic is an independent record label and artist management collective formed in 2019 by Ryan Hoffman, formerly of Chain of Strength, and Michael Messina, ex-Southern Lord A&R. Inspired by influential labels like 4AD, Dischord, and Touch & Go, Quiet Panic focuses on delivering underground art from a diverse pool of talent unafraid to express themselves without limitations. Their roster includes artists such as Slow Crush, Mugger, Filth is Eternal, Negative Blast, and Newmoon. How does the relationship between record companies and artists work?
Once you have signed with a record company, you will have dedicated people to work with. Often it will be a project manager, and one or more artistic directors in charge of your project. These will be the main contacts with whom you will exchange. From then on, they will be at your service, and will listen to your needs while taking into account the specifications carried out throughout your contract.
