About Excuse My French
EXCUSE MY FRENCH was founded in 2003 in Brighton by JD Beauvallet (founder of Les Inrockuptibles) and Thomas Routier (radio host - artistic director). EMF was initially in the form of radio programs.
In 2006, EMF transformed into a party label. With over 10 years of residence, EMF parties quickly gathered a large audience around rich and diverse artistic programs.
Since 2015, Excuse My French has diversified to an artist management agency, a music publisher, and an independent label.

How does the relationship between record companies and artists work?
Once you have signed with a record company, you will have dedicated people to work with. Often it will be a project manager, and one or more artistic directors in charge of your project. These will be the main contacts with whom you will exchange. From then on, they will be at your service, and will listen to your needs while taking into account the specifications carried out throughout your contract.
