About Boom Boom Tchak
Boom Boom Tchak is a French label based in Les Lilas, Seine-Saint-Denis. This label specializes in independent music. It was founded in 2005 by Marie Mounier and her brother Antoine Mounier, a musician and producer (Antoine, Antoine, Antoine, The Operator). The label's name is inspired by a Kraftwerk track, "Boing Boom Tschak".
Boomboomtchak released Zombie Zombie's first EP in 2006, which achieved critical acclaim. This was followed by a second release from the group MmMmM in 2013, a colorful and "messy" psych-pop-rock band known for their energetic live performances, particularly at major summer festivals in 2014, and for reaching the semi-finals of France Inter's Radio Crochet. In 2020, Boomboomtchak relaunched as a musical laboratory, aiming to facilitate encounters and collaborations between artists, directors, writers, and photographers for projects beyond the musical sphere.
The Boom Boom Tchak catalogue is distributed by Kuroneko and includes Zombie Zombie, Antoine Antoine Antoine, MmMmM, Greg Hopf, MmMmM, and Monsallier. Upcoming releases include Pierre Ponge, Bauthi, and Roger.

How does the relationship between record companies and artists work?
Once you have signed with a record company, you will have dedicated people to work with. Often it will be a project manager, and one or more artistic directors in charge of your project. These will be the main contacts with whom you will exchange. From then on, they will be at your service, and will listen to your needs while taking into account the specifications carried out throughout your contract.
